The hotel over looks the bay, so the sun set and the sun rise is amazing. The staff was very accomadating. The women that does the cooking, was absolutely amazing and did what ever she could to ensure we were happy with our stay. And the location was very good for your stay in the historic district.
In all, I would not call this a hotel. It was more like a hostle. The rooms were very very small and there were not restroom necessities (i.e. Shampoo and Soap).

The manager Gianluca was extremely helpful to us and very friendly. He even made calls to another hotel on my behalf in Portuguese in order to arrange a refund!

The staff - Luca the owner is a pleasure - and the decor - tastefully decorated and a beautiful building.
The bathroom was unfeasibly small and the window leaked a little, but this did not affect us and would not stop me staying here again.

The hotel is well situated in the Old Section of the city with a great view of the harbor and the business district below. Breakfast was tasty.
Our room was facing the street and got a little noisy, especially during the Tuesday night city-wide celebration -- but again, that's why we chose a hotel in the Old Section.

People are very kind and the place is perfect to stay day/night node historic center. People are very kind, you feel like part of the family.
The room is clean but the toilet is very simple and the sewer of the douch smells. Maybe it comes from the old installations of that area.
